If you've been around programmers for any length of time, you'll hear the phrase "Don't reinvent the wheel". That's our way of saying that reusing existing designs to the extent practical saves time and money.
When you're on a budget, which in our experience is most of the time, choosing an existing template for the design is an efficient way to get a web site up quickly. You can then change out colors, images, and other elements to make your site look uniquely yours -- without having to design everything from scratch.
We have thousands of templates at our disposal. Some are complex, and some extremely simple. This site is based on a very simple template set. Other sites we have developed use much more complex templates. What you choose to use is completely up to you.
