About the Lead Developer
I'm Kristyne McDaniel, the owner/principal/managing member of McStyles Software.
By now, I've been writing software in one form or another for over 20 years.
I started out as an engineering technician communicating with mainframes
over a 120 baud line in 1981. Just over ten years later, I became an independent.
I've been writing custom software solutions for clients for over ten years
now -- since early 1992.
I've been working with Visual FoxPro and FoxPro since each came out, and have developed cross-platform applications from the
very beginning. I purchased my first personal computer in 1981 while I was still in
college studying for my BME -- or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering -- at the University of Minnesota. I'm a US Citizen
born in Minnesota, and previously held a security clearance.
For the period of 1996-1997, I was honored with
Microsoft's MVP award
for support I gave to the FoxForum, an online forum that was on
CompuServe
at the time.
I've written articles for the
FoxTalk and FoxPro Advisor,
and have given
presentations at several of the Southern California user groups.
What follows is a short summary of my capabilities and
